my girl friends dad may be able to take them in as he has a 35gal tank, with 3 buenos aires tetras, 1 pearl danio,1 zebra danio, and other fish which i don't know which are a similar size 2 the buenos aires tetras
from what species of fish are paraise fsh from? coz i was looking them up in a fish guide, and it had different breeds of paradise fish in with gouramis i.e. the brown spike tailed pradise fish, but i also think that it could be a cichlid because of the agresion that it has. because i was thinking of getting one myself.
so because bettas come from the same family as paradise fish, is that whay they aren't compatable, or is it beacuse they are bright and showy?
Fish keeper 87: I'd say Macropodus opercularis... I had one in a 29G, but it jumped out through the small space for the filter (AC70) on the canopy (the day after I added a golden dojo loach).

my paradise fish that started off all of this is to be rid of on saturday coz the lil bugger mauled and stressed my male marigold sword tail, and read tail shark to death, so he is being returned to where he was bought from, which is a shame because he is such a beautiful fish (he is the fish that is in my avatar) but truth be told, i didn't really want him in the first place, i only took him on because he was kiling off all of my girlfriends fish, and she didn'tt wanna give him away, and now he has done the same to my fish, but, what i can;t comprihen is why after having him in my tank for a week, he suddenly turned on my swordtail and red tail, as they were all getting on, then i returned homeform work to find my red tail dead, then the next day when i got home from work to find my sword tail dead, is there any explaination for why he did tis after a week and not straight away?
