You can rid your tank of snails and then remove the loach or just keep it . Works for me , no more snails in 2 tanks that were full of them.

I have been fighting pond snails for a long long time! I use the zucchini method(but I am not very regular about it) I find cutting back on feeding leads to them snacking on my plants.
