Bloomin' heck - he's huge! Don't think I could have one of them in the tank - I'd be afriad it would get out!!!

Giant African Filter shrimp?! I guess they might snack a bit on a dead carcus, if they could get their mouth to it, but they don't have claws or anything to catch a fish with. I guess they could 'Fan Dance' them to death
.Seriously, filter feeding shrimp are the most peacful shrimp species. I just got four and was able to get one to purch on my hand while I used an eyedropper to squirt a few puffs of food at it.

I have a tank with Ghost Shrimp, Red Cherry Shrimp, and Crystal Red Shrimp... the funniest was when a big GS was hoarding a algae wafer and the CRS was trying to sneak in from all sides to get a bite. They all have great personalities!!!
Thet certainly sound like fun so I think I'll start off with a few cheapies and take it from there!
