From start to finish...
What do you do when you go in? What do you say?..ect

I walk into the store, go RIGHT to the fish room...pick out my fish(es)
most of the time, no one is in the fish room...

SSSOOOO go BACK to the counter, say "can I get someone for the fish room?" (im REALLY shy:o LOL)

then we walk AAALLL the way back to the fish room...she says: what can I get for you today?"
2 of....*walk to that tank* these please:D

"two of those? OK then"

then she bags it up, fills out the 3 day warrenty (IF the die, they die AFTER the warrenty expires...OF COURSE) lol

then I go to the checkout...get my coupon for "buy one, get one free"
check out...go back to the car, go home, put it in my tank to acclamate (but sometimes they write on the bag with a perm. marker)

net them out, put them in the water...and im DONE lol;):dance2:

What about you?

The LFS (that I LOVE in Lansing, MI, though I haven't been to their new store downtown...going on a visit there when we head home later this month) is also the place where I get my reptile supplies...so...

I walk into the back door, into the reptile room and wave at Jay and Mike and they ask "What do you need today, hon?" and I respond with my live insect order..while they are bagging that up, I tell them that I am headed up front to get some feeder fish and that I'll be right back. I walk out the door, admiring the tortoise tanks, head through the bird area (stopping to get chew sticks for my parakeet), and the very small cat/dog area to the fish room. The place is crawling with blue-shirted staff and I can ususally flag someone or my friend Becca down from their maniacal pace and tell them I need rosies or guppies for the turtles. We walk past the huge FW ray tank (which would look GREAT in my house, lol) and through an isle of non-cichlids. I look around the SW area (wondering how I could keep my 4 cats out of an open top tidal pool tank), since the feeder tanks are back behind everything....
They bag the fishies and I head back to the reptile room to pick up and pay for my victims. The End.

P.S. I'm pretty habitual when it comes to shopping there BUT, sometimes to "change it up a bit", I go to the fish room FIRST! hehehe
