What do you plant outside the H20?

I have grown veggies for years as i love the taste and you know exactly what is on them my veggie plot is all organic this year i will grow peas, beans, carrots, sweetcorn, potatoes, onions, spinach, lettuce, spring onions, courgettes and leeks. I also have a greenhouse which i grow cucumbers, tomatoes, chillis, peppers and a grapevine in. I also grow fruit and have a strawberry bed, raspberry canes, blackcurrant bushes, plum tree, pear tree and a apple tree.

I have a garden usually w/tomatoes, peppers, squash. Container garden my herbs so I can move them to chase the sun. Not big on flowers, have lots of house plants. This year I am growing cukes, beans, turnips and all sorts of new stuff. Hoping to pickle again at the end of the season, that was fun last year.

its funny when someone previously mentioned hydroponics I automatically thought of the illegal green plant hahah. Just for the record some of these elaborate lights like t5 and metal halide are what the wacky tobaccy farmers use in their indoor grow rooms. Dont ask me how I know!

Sorry to say this but I'm envious. I would love to have a vegie garden. I never grew very much but when I was little I grew a few things on the side of the house. We had coconut trees, banana trees, tomatoes, chives, avacados, oranges, chives, green beans, radishes, limes, pears that I can remember. My Grandmother lived in Mass when I was small and she had a big garden maybe like a half acre. The memories of walking through the rows picking and eating right off the vines .

I have 6 acres of land and it is just sitting there at the moment :( Maybe someday. I will dream now :)

You all need to post pics of your stuff !!!!!!!!

What haven't I planted! I've been gardening for 10 years now. Tropicals (Passifloras are a personal fav), bananas, orchids, butterfly nectar and host plants and I'm really, really into natives. I also like berries and other fruit. Veggies kind of bore me but I still plant some for my parrots. Oh, and I can't forget herbs!

This summer I want to re-do my butterfly garden and make it into an exibition type garden with species names on plaques and everything. Kind of like what you'd see at the Smithsonian's butterfly garden (if you've ever been).

I'm also making a woodland garden. And I'm tearing up a bunch of invasive brambles and replacing it with native species, but still brambles. For wildlife.

I'm also going to be filling in the woods with native trees, shrubs and perennials and (maybe) biennials. I'm focusing on berries, nuts, and other seed plants for the wildlife and evergreens for shelter.
