Thinking more about the filter I will be using on my 75 gallon tank I will be setting up this week. Since it is planted I won’t need a lot of biological filtering. I would need a lot of mechanical filtering. Chemical filtering would not be used much at if all I hope.
If I’m thinking the right way I mostly need a light current, and to remove the junk out of the water. Am I thinking right? I still want to go with the wet sump like on some of my larger tanks. But before I get it setup and running, as long as I have a large amount of mechanical filter and some water current I should be fin with a light fish load.
I’m starting to also think about using 1 Magnum 350, pumping co2 and using an in line heater on it. Would the 350 GPH be high enfo for this tank?
What filter would you use for a planted 75 gallon tank?
