Here are my plans for my new 55 gallon tank, please let me know what you think.

30 lbs Fuji Live rock- I purchased the rock prep and kent start kit
I will receive it in a 2 days. Currently my tank just has the saltwater and sand.

Currently I have the lighthood that came with the tank. I was thinking about using a 50/50 light. What do you think? I want to update to a better light system later and then possibly do coral. But for now I'm just going to use what I have.

I don't think I'm going to add any new fish until after my vacation. June 16. Do I need to do anything to the tank before the fish are added? I've heard that I need to use my light during the day.

Once I get back from vacation, I want to start adding fish- If everything is okay with the cycling. I want to add these fish:

Occellaris Clown fish (2)
Coral Beauty Angel
Yellow Tang
A damsel
Racoon butterfly fish

Are these fish compatable? I have read that I can add the damsels 1st but they become territorial and not to add them until later when everyone has their territory.

I'm thinking about adding the clowns first and then a few later. How many fish should I add at a time ( I learned not to add too many fish at once from my freshwater tank) What type of cleaner crew should I add and when is the best time to add them?

I have a aqua clear 70 pump and I also purchased the aqua clear powerhead (LFS said aquaclear powerheads are not the best after I already purchased it from eBay.) I'm also thinking about adding another filter.

you should post this in the saltwater newbie section. you'll get alot more help.
