My 29g planted tank now only has a school of about 9 harlequin rasboras and about 10 albino cories(they bred in the tank). My big marble mollie died, I guess from old age, and now I don't have a "centerpiece" fish. I was thinking of a betta, but a website of fish compatibility said don't do that. So what now? Gourami? That's all I can think of. Thank you for your help.
i think you would be fine with keeping a betta in that tank i kept mine in a tank with Harlequins and cories and had no problem. you might also look at some type of ram. you might be able to get away with having a pair of german blue rams in there.
