my anubius is about to open its flower, is anubinus nana a marsh plant? or does pollen get from one anubius to the other by bumble bee gobies?
RTR said:Anubias are not submerse plants, they are emerse other than briefly during flood. Check out that nice waxy cuticle - submerse plants do have such. They also grow much faster emerse. The flower stalk do not keep elongating - this is not a sword plant or Aponogeton.
I have not checked personally on Java Fern, but it is my understanding that they also are emerse plants in the wild.
