What happens if you overdose Trace / Plantex CSM+B?

Do I need to stop doing what I am doing (work), and do a massive water change, or can I just wait till tonight or tomorrow and do my normal water change?

I have 75 Gallon tank, meant to dose my daily 7.5 ml, accidentally dosed something like 60 ml. Yes, six zero ml.

:jaw:

Yes, I am an idiot.

I think its ok until you get home. I would do a 50% and start the week regimen over tonight.

Just remember not to dose Plantex for a few days. I would dose macros every other, but skip the first micro dose... Then at the end of your week of dosing do the 50% again.

if it's trace elements, a massive water change right now wont be needed, although if it contains phosphates, then you may want to do a 50% water change when you get home just to battle any algae in the tank.

just watch your fish, if they look stressed, do a water change sooner for their health.

thanks for the response, I ended up doing a 35% to be safe.
