What is the most effective way to bring down pH?

Hi! I just finished testing my pH levels and they are at 7.8, normal for my city. I was wondering, since this is normal for my city, do you think this will affect the breeding process of my kribs?? Both pairs are showing colors, just no action yet. Considering that all the fish I have, they all require the pH to be around neutral. Thanks!

Fish:
4 Kribs (2m & 2f)
6 Red-eyed tetras
2 firemouths in divided tank (temporary)

BTW, not all fish are in same tank.

1 pair of kribs and tetras are in 37 gallon
2 firemouths are in a mistakenly small 20 gallon divided tank
Other pair of kribs and pleco are in a 25 gallon

I do not think I would worry about it to much. Kribs are so long in captivity they no longer need real specific water conditions. If you were dead set on it though I would try peat moss or pellets. So long as your water does not have a grossly high buffering ability this will in time slowly lower the PH.
