What is this green ball in my tank?

The last part of what I quoted says this...

Anyways, it could very well be moss but the OP does not have any so I bet it's a bunch of clado/hair algae/marimo.

Sorry pap, reading to the end isn't always 1 of my skills. Amazing what DNA studies can do. I haven't read of "them" returning a species to a previous genus before, usually it's split, split, split lol
