I picked up this plant at a nearly LFS and they said it was called "Teardrop". I've searched high and low over the internet and all I could find was the Dwarf Baby Tears used for ground cover. Clearly not the same plant...

I don't know the light requirements... the girl at the LFS said "we just use these regular lights", but in my little "low light" 10-gallon, the plant appears to be wilting (some leaves have turned brownish). This is made worse because I totally skipped turning on the light for the first day. :shakehead:

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Oh! And it wasn't really that dark green to begin with... my iPhone just takes dark pics. It's a bright green, kind of like a green apple color.

Yep, I think it's moneywort too.

Thank you, that is exactly it!! Oh dear, I think I need more wattage...

What wattage do you have now?

Oh wow, I just noticed you're in Hawai'i! What island? And if Oahu, which pet store did you get the moneywort from? :)
Yep I'm on Oahu. I got the moneywort at Pets & Plants in the Waimalu Shopping Center (By Shiro's Saimin) in Pearl City. They have wisteria, too... and a bucketload of hornwort (called "foxtail"). Their crypts looked awful, but they had some big swords.

I think it's a single 15watt bulb... which (I think) should be perfect for the Anubias Nana that I'm planning to pick up. The moneywort was a spontaneous purchase as their crypts were in terrible condition.

I'm from Oahu as well but live in the Mainland. :) I used to go to the petstore in the shopping center that Ice Palace is located in; I think it was called Moanalua Pets? When I was in Hawai'i at the time, they had a good plant selection. Kalihi Pet Center located in the City Square Shopping Center is great for tropical fish as well. And believe it or not, Pet Discount (there was one located next to Costco) had some really awesome plants for sale in their display tanks. :)
