This is some hitchhiker on my liverock. It is growing quickly. You can't see in the picture, but it has a base sort of like a Xenia coral. This base has doubled in length in 2 weeks.

Whatever it is expels a whitish substance occassionally. I have seen it do it 2 times in one day. Of course, it is probably doing it while I'm not there as well.

Sorry for the horrible picture, but this is on the back of some liverock and very hard to see.

It looks a lot like a flower or rock anemone.also the tend to blow out that white slimy stuffa lot.Next time itdoes that check to see if it shrinks or looks dead then comes back.mine do that every so often.Think it is to get rid of wastes.If it is one keep it.as long as you have good water quality and light,it should do fine.I paid 9.99 each for mine.....good find
