looks like some sort of fungus to me. just scrape it off.

1. It's fungus on looks like left over food.
2. On the ick ue the meds you got and raise the heat in the tank slowly over a day or so to 80oF and keep it there for aroun 8 days. This will cause the ick to go throw the stages of it's lif span faster and there for killing it off quicker. with the meds and the higher temps. And even adding a tbls of salt per 10g of water this will stop the spread of the ick and kill it of faster.

DO NOT TURN UP THE HEAT with that medication unless the packaging advises you to. Many medications are extremely toxic to fish at higher heat. The best method to cure ich is the salt and heat method. It's better for plants and fish than any medication would be. Just do a search for it on this forum and you'll find several recent posts detailing how to do this treatment.

Edited to add: One of the active ingredients in Paracide Green is formalin, which will be toxic with salt. If you have added the medication, I would not add salt at this time.

It looks to be fungus growing on something, as has already been stated.

The salt/heat method is an excellent one to use instead of the commercial ich treatments that are available. However, seeig as you have already started the treatment with paracide green, I would continue with that following the exact directions on the bottle.

Hers a link to an ich article you may be intersted in :
