What kind of pond fish are there?

What are some good cold water pond fish? I know that goldfish are and koi are but is there any kind of other fish that can live in an out door pond and in cold water? Are ALL kinds of gold fish cold water fish? I am building a turtle pond and the pond is going to be around 100 gallons. Its 70% don so far. It might have a water fall not sure. Its going to have good filtration. Thanks! :feedback:

I breed Mosquito fish so i have tons of them, rosey red minnows, hmmmmm, will a water turtle eat the rosey red minnows? I have the turtle for a long time all ready and he use to eat tons of fish and now there are a few gold fish with him in a 30 gallon tank and he dosent eat them. Are there any other fish that are good for out door ponds?(cold water) Thanks!
 
turtles eat fish, period. i'm pretty sure you can only have one or the other, because any fish you add will either be eaten or have chunks taken out of them.
 
Ok, so this is the list of pond/cold water fish i found so far Chinese Hillstream Loach, Weather Loach, Three Spined Stickleback, Northern Redbelly Dace, Rainbow Darter, Bullhead, Sunfish, Mosquito fish, rosey red minnows, Golden Orfe, and cold water Plecostomus. Is there any other cold water fish?

There are a few goldfish with him in the tank and the turtle dosent even touch them, he dosent even go after them.
 
There's a shot that the fish you've got with him could be too fast for him depending on how big your turtle is. I don't know how lucky new fish will be, especially small ones that he could handle in one bite.....
 
I keep shibunkins in my pond they can grow to a good size and are quick and come in lots of different colours. Also my Shibunkins readily breed in spring and summer.

most goldfish are goldwater fish, but the fancy varieties cannot handle water *AS* cold as the common,comet, and shubunkin varieties and koi.
