they have small whiskers if that haelps, and the EAT LIKE CRAZY! started going after my oddessas so they are gone now, no one at the fish store could say what they were either

JMO, but it appears to me to be a black-line cigar shark, Leptobarbus melanotaenia. Click all the way through on the picture to see it larger and you can see the "whiskers".

Picture in Aquarium Atlas Photo Index show it with almost clear fins as opposed to the picture on fishbase, but that could well be a maturity difference.

my fish only has 2 whiskers and bigger eyes but i guess since i didnt even know there was a such thing as a cigar shark, i guess ill just let this one rest knowing that there are a buttload of fish out theree... lol

Odessa barbs.. they look way better than that in real life my favorite fish ever!

they can be hard to get, and wont really color up unless provided with a heavlity naturaly planted tank. if you get them, dont mess with your tank too much cuz they become very timid fish and hide a lot grr hehe but yea they rule :OT:
