What other fish can I add to clean the bottom?

pictus would be great, fun to look at and very very active, should stir up the substrate to premote better overall oxygen levels in your tank. One thing about the pictus that you should be caregful about the is not to catch them in nets they have an ability to stick out bones from there sides making them stick in nets which eventually forces you to basicly just cut the net, so they should be caught in a platic cup. As for the neons angels and serpaes, it really all depends, angels can eat neons and serpaes can bug angels, but every fish is differnt if they all seem to be getting along i would say dont worry about it, there are always exceptions. I do personally believe that you should add more to your serpae school so they tend to chase each other instead of your angels. And as for the neons i would say just moniter the situation and be careful, if you see the angels start to get aggresive around the neons remove the neons or angels asap, because the results will not be pleasing. But like i said all fish are different, you may never have a problem with those fish at all.

how about snails? would they work in my tank? and if so what kind, i dont really know much about them.

some of the smaller types of loaches would be a great addition i think.

or maybe a Pictus cat.

I'd stay away from the pictus cat, because being a pimelloid catfish, it is still predatory and might pick off some smaller fish, particularly at night.

all of my neons came out of a tank with angel fish in it, The angel fish and neons have been great together i have not lost a neon yet by the angels so i disagree with that statement,
interesting..how old are the angels?

It is hit and miss with neons in with angels..I know in my angel tanks.I would not add neons..(I have 4 angel tanks) especilay true with the wild angels.

when angels are young the mix seems to be okay..but in my case as the angels matured..the neons, danios and oto's all became snacks..as did many snails.

you may have some pretty docile angels..

what about adding more cory cats.?

my angels are about 1 yr old, when i got them at the store the tank was labeled a community tank, i was surprised at first they had neon tetras, cory cats, angels, and a few other fish so i picked up two angels (silver w/black stripes) and they have been fine ever since, my serpae tetras dont even chase the angels, the neons stay in their little group and the angels never seem to bother them. the only ones that chase eachother are the painted neons, but other than that i have one peaceful tank
