What plant is this?

Anyone know what this plant is? Is it difficult to grow? Thanks.

I recognize that plant, it is Sunset Hygro. Someone who has this plant can tell more about it's care.

yup, that is sunset hygro (hygrophila polysperma "rosanervig"). Relatively easy to keep, but prefers more than low light. It'll live in low light but it'll shed it's lower leaves, giving it a palm tree appearance.

I agree it's sunset hygro. I grow it under 2.5 WPG in a 20 and it grows very well all the way to the base. As stated it will lose its lower leaves in lesser lighting.

Thanks for the help guys. I did some research and it sounds like a great plant but I was disappointed to find out that it is illegal to transport sunset hygro. What's the best way to get some?

I may be wrong but I believe it is like most things it's not illegal unless you are transporting it over state lines. Maybe you can try and get some from a member here in NY.
