you do know most algae eats only eat one or two times of algae. you also have to feed them their own food.

If you're not adding corys I agree with Msjinkzed- bristlenose (Ancistrus sp.3), or if you add bogwood a pair of clown plecs (Panaque maccus) would work. I've got both (in different tanks).

move your post to general freshwater will get more hits
Each forum has its own purpose so the thread will be moved back here again anyway. This is the proper forum for pleco topics.

If you are prepared to keep these fish bearing in mind that these are not as easy to keep as they seem to be, then get four.

ok, but it will be awhyl befor i get them, im pretty skilled

You'll be pleased with ottos. Tiny, energetic, festive schools. Just as above, really look at them before you buy them, and be prepared to acclimate them carefully to your tank. Ottos need clean water.

I have a 35 hex also (that I got at a yarsale for 20 bucks) and it houses a young clown pleco. i never really cared for plecos until i found this little guy. hes funny to watch and after he settled in, he really started to eat the algae. I would definitely recommend one for you, but they are pretty shy so you might not see it much
