people tend to shy away from it because of the old formula, but the new stuff is fantastic.

but thats just like, myopinion man.
 
I just somewhat recently changed from the oceanic to the reef crystals and wish I had done it sooner.

I posted a thread about it on Reefcentral. They contacted me via PM and wanted a sample, so I sent them one. Dr. Randy Holmes Farley also requested a sample and confirmed it was bad. The company then asked for a list of my damages, I itemized everything in an email to them and after speaking to the guy on the phone (who was REALLY nice) they mailed me a check. I was quite happy how they handled it, actually. It's also cool to know they read the message boards. Even Kent was reading my thread, as an assistant to Mr. Kent told me in a post or PM, I can't remember which.

(FYI I was not ever "Omega" on that board... he was someone else who caused problems and such.)
 
Oceanic Natural Sea Salt is the one I used before. It seemed to work fine. But I believe it has other components, like calcium. You might not want those added extras if a certain stable level of them is important.
