I was just given a tank to use as a hospital tank. It is long and low - 23-1/2 x 6-3/4 x 8-3/4? She thought it was a 10g but it looks much smaller than that. Maybe 5 g?

Anyone good with math??

Thanks

Thanks Mgamer20o0- before I saw the tank, she said 10 - oh well it was free.

Thanks for confirming!

its hard to get any better then free.

Picked up my 55 gal, with 1 hood (had to buy the 2nd), wood stand with doors, 3 cans of Tetramin, vacuum hose, net, a few pieces of decor, pH test kit, ammonia / nitrite test kit, and several miscellaneous items all for the cost of me driving to her house, emptying the tank, and loading it in my car.

The tank was currently housing 192!!! fancy guppies, 2 rainbowsharks (6" long each), 1 ropefish (16" long) and one 4" tinfoil barb. Talk about over stocked. The top of the water looked like a 1million guppy march.

Sold the 192 guppies to the store i work at for almost .25¢ each. Also sold them the rainbows.

Bought a filter with the store credit from the fish, and that was it. :dance2:
