i have an 80 gal tank, almost every time i buy new fish about half of them die, they start swimming wierd ,like they dont have the strength to fight the current or upside down or pointing straight up, and they kind of seem hunched up if that makes sense, and today i noticed what looks like ich, white spots all over the fish and that fish is swimming wierd to, any ideas? i just recently saw the ich, so i'm not sure that and wierd swiming are related , but not sure... and my platty has a big white spot on her head and back and she sits in the corner all day....

Whats up??

What are your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature, etc?

It sounds like you have some water quality issues that are harmful to your fish.

Tell us more about your aquarium and how you maintain it and I bet we can come up with some good suggestions to get your fish on the right track.

Yeah that right off the bat sounds like an Ammonia issue

maybe ph shock?
i take at least an hour when i buy fish from the stores.. 3 hours for shrimps..

always good advice to post paramters for the tank here to give those willing to help a better idea of what may or may not be going on, but something that came to mind paramaters aside, could it be possible that the tank has something wrong with it, and instead of a complete tear down, bleach bath and re-cycle, they just keep adding new fish everytime something dies so the tank never gets a chance to recover......
