I just set up a new tank. Its 5 gallons, I added some live rock from my main tank along with some mushroom corals and a small toadstool and some macro algae. I havent added anything else, I was thinking maybe a clownfish and an anemone , actually a pair would be nice but I know 5 gallons for a clownfish might be really pushing it. Any suggestions, I know i can try a gobie or a small wrasse. Not sure , any suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks :)

no anemones, that's for sure. all i'd do is a neon goby and a cerith snail or two.

Hm, a clown wouldn't work, especially not with an anenome.

I'd go with a pistol shrimp/goby pair, their symbiosis is really interesting.
yeah freddy, that'd be a great combo! :D

Hi there i would just start out with a domino or three stripped damsel, theyre easy to itroduce and would get your cycle started. plus theyre inexpensive and dont need alot of space. anyway i like them.

both would get too big for a 5G. dominos get to be 5" long, and I think three stripes are around 4".

true, it takes a while though
he's looking for fish to permanetly live in his 5G....
a single clown goby would work well, too.

ok ok, logic just told me that he is going to be tempted to expand sooner than later. thats what this hobby does to ya.
