I think I'm starting to see some flatworms on the front glass of my tank. Can anyone give me any suggestions to get rid of these things before they take over the tank? My tank is a 50 gal, 75lbs LR, 4" sand bed, prism skimmer. The tank has been up and running for about 7 months. Ph 8.0 - 8.3, 0 ammonia, nitrites and Nitrates, Calcium 420, alkalinity 8 dkh. Please let me know if any more info is needed.
Thanks
Brian

peppermint shrimp and Berghia nudibrachs.

Peppermint shrimp are a hit or miss.... but are cool anyways.

oh yea.... if you feel like waiting awhile, the flatworm population usually crashes after it gets pretty large.

Brian, lots of folks have had luck with a Six-Line Wrasse. Are they the brown guys with the red dots on their head?

At my store we had an outbreak in one of our tanks and we have tried everything (we ended up just syphoning them out whenever we have the chance and their numbers are dropping). Best bet in a home aquarium is to get as many flat worm eating animals in there as possible. There are many that are supposed to take care of them and here are a few that I have heard of.
Yellow wrasse (yellow coris wrasse)
Orchid dottyback
Longnosed hawk
the spotted Maderin Goby (can't remmeber their real name off the top of my head)

I'm sure there are many others that will pick at them but those are what I know and can think of at this time.
