Ok so some of you may know that at school i have an angel tank of my ag class...then after the semester is over the angels are going to come home with me...well today while i was feeding i noticed something...one of the angels was the same size as when we got them while the others were twice his size...we got them about the size of a quarter. so i watched at my next feeding sure enough the other angels bumped him outa the way and took the food he was suppose to get he got some but it was mostly crumbs that the others didn't notice. and i know i'm not underfeeding them...they get fed 2 times a day about a large pinch or so...so my question is what should we do about him? do you think he is fine? should i talk to my ag teach about taking this one home early so he can grow to size so when the others come they won't steel his food? any ideas. there are 4 angels by the way. anyone got any ideas...

a turkey baster to blast food at him
How would that work? wouldn't the others still be able to push him away from the food and wouldn't that scare him into not eating the food? or were you joking ?

i tend to try and sprinkle it over the whole opening of the hood because it is a skinny strip on the hood for opening up and feeding. so instead of placing all over should i just do it in two spots?

ok i'll try to separate food out for them so he can get a chance to eat. if that doesn't work what should i try next. i can't get my hands on a turkey baster i don't have one/can't buy one/ag teacher doesn't have one.

Give the food in two spots only. First look where the small fish is and give the food to the others on the opposite side and then go back and put food right above the little one. The turkey baster is definitely a good way to do that. You can buy a baster at a dollar store.

None of the ideas presented are bad ones, but I like the turkey baster better just because I like seeing food shoot out of the thing. That's just me though. A combination of both would be a great plan. Feed the others on one side and turkey baster the little guy on the other side.
