what to feed baby brine shrimp??

My first thought was phytoplankton but I Googled this good article up that talks about alternatives:

I did several experiments over a few months on feeding these little guys, and I finally decided that using ground up fish flake food works just as well as anything.
What I did was I added a small amount of flake food to a very small amount of salt water. And then I ground them up in a blender for about 30 seconds until the food was microscopic and in suspension in the water. This makes sure the food is small enought the shrimps' small mouths.
I then added the liquid to the brine shrimps' bottle water.
I also blended up a large mix and kept the extra in a bottle in the refrigerator. This also worked well.
The only problem with using intert food as opposed to live food for brine shrimp, is keeping the water clean. But siphoning out a little water once a week helps.
I did all this because I could not find powdered brine shrimp food in any of my pet stores.
