what is the best food to feed them? I will be getting a group of 8 next week. 20 gal. Ph 7.4 ammonia/nitIte -0 tankmates 3 swordtails, 3 platies and a clown pleco. not planted, but lots of fake plants. The filter intake is covered. Will red cherry shrimp do well in my tank?

but if your fish don't eat them, cherry shrimp will do fine on standard sinking algae wafers, though they seem to get redder when fed Hikari Crab Cuisine pellets.

Any leftovers, but I feed my bottom-dwellers a mix of algae wafers and shrimp pellets, and some tiny pieces of flakes hit bottom too, so they get a fairly decent diet. You could also feed some veggies every once in a while, and if you don't like veggie clips, pees dissapear fast.
