What would be better?

Right now i have a 75G with a 79 watt light, im growing sword plants jungle vals java fern and omse other plants, with eco complete substrate. I want to improve growth, should i go with a cos system or better lighting? I am thinking of a 130watt light.

If you want good plant growth but do not want to necessarily mess with a co2 system then you want to shoot for around 2-2.5 watts of light per gallon. Anything more then that and you are looking at setting up either a do it yourself co2 system or a pressurized co2 system to prevent algae outbreaks that can easily take over a tank if it is not kept under control. With the plants that you listed, they are low to medium light plants and will do fine in the 2-2.5 watts of light or even less. Co2 is not usually needed for these types of plants.

It depends on the type of lighting and spectrum of the bulbs.
If your talking standard T-12's, then Marinemom's recommendation is right on.

I have 75 lights, i gues youre right, im gonna look into a 130 watt light, that shold do my plants nice
