what's the best way to get rid of planaria in your planted tank? How do you get rid of planaria that is already spread out for awhile in your tank?

i tried no planaria and it didnt work... i also tried taking out the plants and dip it in no planaria and put the plants in a brand new tank but it still didnt work...

I am just wondering have u guys dealt with this before? it is stopping my shrimps from multiplying...

Control food. They explode when there is an abundance of food. Many fish will eat them, but they'd also likely eat your shrimp. Manually remove as many as you can, clean the substrate, reduce feeding until they decline.

i dont even feed my shrimps sometimes . i got the planaria from new plants prob the planaria eggs was on my new plants. they are literally impossible to get rid of unless i can find a medication to kill it. I heard panacur c can kill it.

Flubendazole or Fenbendazole. Please research the use of these meds to determine if they might potentially harm other occupants of you aquarium. Some inverts may be at risk, especially if the meds are overdosed.

Fenbendazole is the main ingredient in Panacur C. You can obtain Flubendazole here http://www.inkmkr.com/Fish/
(I keep Flubendazole stocked in my fish medical kit.)
