What's this substance in my spray bar?

I'm assuming it's some sort of bacterial build up, but I thought that would stay in the cannister! This is from one month of having the cannister brand new. It's a CF700.

Also I take it this means the filter is working correctly?

I always thought it was some kind of algae build up or somethig? I get that in my spray bars as well and rinse it out. It sorta looks greenish when I flush it out so I assumed it was plant matter build up....

I get it also and have no idea what it is. I use wooden satay sticks to clean mine out, which isn't so often. It might be a buildup of biological debris from the filtration or just crap that didn't get filtered...

It is either fungus or algae, growing there. High flow, enhanced dissolved nutrients, why not? Just brush it out/off periodically.

i get that when i clean the tubes for my eheim. never got one on the shower pipe tho.
