My colombain shark has two white patches on both sides of him and is swimming straight up cant go side to side? What should i do? The water is good 0 ammonia 0 nitrites 5 nitrates. He is supposed to be brackish but he is young so right now he is in freshwater. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM??
 
I hate to say this, but it's probably due to a weakened immune system from not being in BW. If not in BW, they at least need hard alkaline water. They're actually a BW to marine fish, i wouldn't keep it in FW for too long, no matter how young it is.
 
Well he is still alive but he is still in the same position. The pale blotch has covered just about his whole body. He has been living in hard alkaline water. What could the problem be? Need answers fast.
