What's your longest lived fish?

I seem to have good luck with danios. I've been keeping fish since I was 6 (27 now) and I only have to go back about 4 generations of danios to get back to the very beginning of my fish keeping days. I had one that actually lived 8 years. I was in middle school when I got it, and by the time it died I was about to graduate college.

What's the longest you've had a fish live?

I had an Arowana for 4 years
Also I had a raphael catfish for 5 years
Both were given to a friend with a 500 gallon and I believe still alive.

I used to have a zebra danio, it lived for 2 years.

My very first 2 fish I bought are still alive. Considering I've been in the hobby for about a year, I don't know if it's good or not.

ive got a chinese algae eater that is over 4 years old now and a gibby pleco that ive had for about 4 years

Only 2 years. *tears* goldfishes last for me.

I have a set 4 albino longfin paleateus the female is 12. 2 of the males are 12 and 1 is 3 so I guess 12 years.
