When to replace light bulbs?

I have PC, 65 watt bulbs, and I was curious when should I replace my bulbs with new ones?

I run them about 8.5 hours a day, I have been on this set of bulbs for 9 months now.

i would suggest every 8 or 9 months for a PC bulb..

Some say 6 months for PC bulbs, but I've gone 8 months without any problems. However, the difference when I started replacing the bulbs was quite noticeable even with the naked eye.

I change them every six months.....as fsn77 stated above, the difference in intensity is quite noticiable even at six months when you change them out. It's a little expensive, but, after the amount I have put into the reef tank, I want to see it at its best and keep my corals as happy as possible.

yup 6 months...lol im using my year old pcs over my other tank because they are so much dimer and there isnt any corals in there lol.
