I take that option as much as I can. Unfortunately, moderating the forum also requires me to stick my nose into threads I would prefer not to. We're a little shorthanded these days.

In this case, I was just poking a little fun. I didn't mean for it to take such a serious turn.

Furthermore, while I'm ranting, I find it hysterical that anyone can say I have my head buried in the sand. I don't know what you were doing on 9/11, but I was wondering whether I was ever going to see my wife, who works 2 blocks from the Capital, after the Pentagon got hit. I worry every day whether something will happen on the Metro or at her department. Since 9/11, the facility I work at has gone from an open campus to being fully secured. I now have to use a card key to pass through two 10 foot tall gates just to get onto the site. It is something that is in my face every freaking day. So stop lecturing about terrorism to people who are much more likely targets than you are.

involved realizing it nowadays, esp. post 9/11!!! Personally, I thought

That topic was about Hollywood's idea of promoting a terrorists name. This wouldn't come close to airing back in WWII days with a different name. :idea:

I don't agree with that, everyone is a target... Lecturing? Just skip posts you don't like, or can't handle... One guy hated my UFO paintings post so much he called the UFO's "just circles of purity" or something like that. He could have just ignored the topic.
