I'm 20 minutes into Google searches. It looks like Tetra sells them, but only as part of an air pump rebuild kit. One eBay seller has them, but they're in Great Britain, and for the cost of the filter discs plus shipping to the US, I can buy a whole air pump.

Can I cut them myself? Not sure what kind of material that is. I assume it's some kind of dense polyester sheet.

Visit a sewing shop that carries material, bet you will find some...

A polyester fiber sheet that is often used for quilt fillers. They are thin, about 1/16" thick. They may not be noted with micron size, but most should serve the purpose.

What happened to the original?
How about those little stick on felt disks for furniture legs? Use a razor blade or what ever to cut off the adhesive.

The originally is filthy. It's been in for over a year, and I did a ton of spackling and sanding in the room that kicked up an insane amount of dust. I used a surface skimmer the whole time I as working because of all the crud that kept falling in the tank. I think it would be a good idea to replace this filter also.

That's a dusty mess for sure.

On the other hand, I've got some air pumps that have been running a few years solid, with the same little felt air filter. That last few air pumps that stopped working on me was because of failed check valves under the diaphragm.
