Still no luck trying to get fish at my LFS, PetSmart or PetCo. I've checked the couple online sources that have been mentioned here like LiveAquaria.com and I'm still not able to find either banded Kuhli Loaches or African Butterflies.

Where or how in the world do people order fishies? I've done some searches on the net but have not found any dealers or such. Anyone have some infos out there?

Thx

Same problem here i would like a seller that wont kill you for the shipping... Ex: www.Liveaquaria.com they have a minimum of 30 dollars and on top of that they charge like 20 dollars for shipping...

I watched aquabid and others for a year for what I was looking for.
No luck.
I joined a aquarium club and found what I wanted.
Bigger groups means somebody knows somebody who can usually help.
Might be worth a shot. Check around your area on the internet.

I don't know where you are located but check out Franksaquarium.com in new york for loaches. He's a great guy and has beautiful unusual stock.

Same problem my side of the USA Montana, no close stores, and I do not know where to order from since most places I have seen are back east. I would love to deal with a fish online store in washington, idaho or oregon.

I have had very good luck with this vendor.

PetCo and PetSmart have been mentioned in this thread.

My local stores have a ton of fish not on display which can be ordered with no shipping charges and with their weekly order.

If you have a nice fish manager, an assistant manager or store manager they will help you (if not you are SOL here).

Please be careful with AquaBid. I have had a few good experiences but have recently run into a real weirdo there and now only infrequently visit the site compared to previous times.

Another good site is
http://www.brianstropicals.com/
I have had very good luck in dealing with Brian.
