Where to find 6500K CpSF bulbs

For people that have built the DIY CpSF light setup, where did you find the 6500K bulbs? The highest I can find is 3500K at my local box stores. As a side note, if I am putting six of of these in a 30" strip for a 29 gallon (three double Edisons), should they all be 6500, assuming I can find that temp? Or is there a benefit to mixing the temperatures. I'm new to planted, so there is no rhyme or reason to why I would need higher or lower K bulb temps.

Also, I keep seeing where people are putting the double Edisons into All Glass canopies, but I cannot find the 30" one for less than $45. Any ideas on something else to get for this or where to find these cheaper?

I get mine at walmart they have every thing from 10 watts to 26 watts in 6500k when I checked just last night.

wall-mart, Lowes and Home depot are good places to pick them up at

Look for the blue daylight packaging at Walmat, they're sometimes separate from others.

yup. either GE at most lowes or home depot. or satco at any import lighting shop (ie chinatown)

Man I looked for at least 30 minutes at Lowes and alls I could find were the basic 2700s and then some 3500s. Will just go to Wally World next I guess.

Ge 6500k "Daylight" bulbs. They have them in many wattages. 2 for $7.

i have found them at home depot and wal mart. the best idea is to follow what they said and look for the blue packaging.
