Where to find ADF playmate for my ADF??

I'm new to the forum and to ADF's... we recently had a sad experience with one of our 2 ADF's.... after struggling for weeks to get the little guy to eat, changing food, putting him in smaller tank, etc., he finally died.

We've been looking for another thinking our now sole ADF is a little lonely, she's been less active and lays at the bottom of the tank a lot. The only problem is that none of our local stores carry ADF's.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've found a couple of online distributors but am not sure of their quality.

I have always gotten my ADFs from Petsmart, BUT... with their track record of late.....for me at least..... I would find another source.

There are ADF forums or groups out there that will "adopt" out frogs. You could look there. I belong to one on Yahoo groups.

i would hit that phone book and call around to your lfs. i think shipping would be high for a single adf. i have seen them around my lfs.
