Hi I have a 10g All-Glass aquarium with hood light and I use it primarily for Qt for either sick fish or new fish before adding them to my main tank. Since I don't need to use it all the time I need a stand for it but don't want to spend a lot of money but need something sturdy enough to hold it. I am putting the aquarium in my family room since I don't have anymore room in my living room have 3 tanks there already and one betta tank in the kitchen no counter space to put it and my family room floor is carpeted. Yes I have a serious case of MTS lol. Can anyone give me a suggestion where I can get a sturdy stand that is reasonably priced. Thanks :).

The black metal stands are reasonable. Usually a place like petsmart or some place similar carry them. Your LFS could probably also order one in for you. Or...I used to have one set up on a sturdy night stand I got at the thrift store. Petsmart usually around $35-40...thrift store find $7. lol

Craigslist or yard sales would probably be the cheapest option.

and otherwise, if it's something you would leave out all the time, I'd go with night stand, dresser, shelves or such, It should only weigh less than 100 lbs.

Just be sure it's not pressboard, solid wood should be pretty much fine.

Personally if I need something for 2 or 3 weeks, I'm prone to using a black and decker workmate and then putting it away when I'm done, it says it'll support 500lbs I think, so 200 lbs for a 20g tank should be fine,
