Where to locally get stainless steel wire mesh for moss?

I know eBay has a few auctions, but those are kinda small (around 10cmx6cm), takes long to deliver, etc.. Does anyone know where I can buy truly stainless steel wire mesh locally?

most hardware and some department stores should have stainless mesh for window screen repair/replacement

If I was you I would just go to your local hardware store and get the plastic mesh, it is perfect for the moss and isn't that cheap...also you don't have to take the chance of it not actually being stainless steel....

If you are really set on stainless mesh, you might try a local sheet metal shop. They may have some scrap pieces. I worked in the trade and we usually had some lying around.

I would go with the plastic needlepoint stuff from a craft store. If you don't want to spend a lot of time on set-up you can tie it to the "mesh" and let it grow through.

go to homedepot they have some screen mesh that i used. It's really cheep and you pick it up today so no waiting or paying for shipping.

I'll check out Michaels as there's one near me. I checked out my HD, but the employee I talked to said they didn't have any "stainless wire mesh." He looked a little confused, though. Plastic would be fine for me, and I think I'd prefer plastic.
