I was just wondering, I want the live rock to have critters in it, and I want it to be an attractive rock, whats the best kind? I have alot of base rock and I need to cycle my tank still, I was jsut wondering what is the best type of rock and where to get it? Also after any suggestions, could you please give me advice to work with the website? For example, "be sure to do next-day shipping," or "avoid ___ or ____," etc.

Thanks for all the advice,

Matt

Drs Foster and Smith

I am new to saltwater tanks but have been doing a ton of research on all parts of saltwater tank life. I have used Drs Foster and Smith for years with dog supplies and am just noticing their amazing supply of Aquaria stuff. They have a great guarantee and a great reputation. They are shipping 45 pounds of Fiji Rock for $109 on special and have a special on Lalo Rock, 30 pounds for $109. They will charge you about $30 shipping but the price is far better than a LFS. You can check them out at liveaquaria.com
Good luck with your search.

I got mine from Tampa Bay Saltwater and have been very happy.
They are the only vendors that ship the rock packed in water, which eliminates most of the die-off right from the start.

I agree on this one. I bought mine from them and was extemely pleased. It was full of critters and such.
