Which has more heat

Do PC or VHO lights give off more heat? Would it create more heat to have 4 48" VHO or PC bulbs?

I've never seen a 48" PC bulb

I'm not sure if there is a large difference in heat given off between a 110W VHO and a 55W PC. I lean towards the VHO giving off more heat, but that is my opinion from put my hand on both.

I wasn't sure if there was a 48" PC but I know there was a 48" VHO. So either way, I'm just curious about the difference between the higher wattage bulbs.

From what I've read, they'd be about the same - that's just from a quick search on ReefCentral.
