I have been having a algae problem (let's say plague) in my tank suddenly.
I bought phosphate and nitrate pouches and now am just waiting for the algae to disapper. I thought that Bristlenoses got rid of green algae...and they do, but only a tiny bit and they get rid of brown algae. I heard that the only thing that will help now is the Flying Fox (Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus) or the Siamese Flying Fox(Crossocheilus siamensis ).
Which fish is better at getting rid of algae? The Siamese Flying Fox or the Flying Fox? This is green algae by the way.
