Ok I set up a new tank and well I am new too lol. It is a 90 gallon bowfront. I tested my water in tank and also the tap and everything is 0ppm my only problem is the pH is 7.6. Now I am using Sea Chem Prime and was thinking of sticking with sea chem products and thought about using the neutral regulator. I am not sure how good this product is or if I should be using maybe a pH down. Any suggestions I would appriciate so much :)

my suggestion is not to mess with the pH using chemicals. your pH is perfectly fine for almost all commonly kept tropical and temperate freshwater fish.

yeah my tap is at 7.8 and my fish (bolivian rams) are meant to be in ph lower than 7. But they are perfectly fine. Leave the pH.

a lot of people think that a fish 'needs' a certain pH to thrive. in fact, a pH that is similar to their native waters may not HARM them, but neither will one that isnt. most fish can adapt very well, and changing your pH is more harmful to the fish than letting them live in what you have, even if its toward their 'preferred' range.

Thankyou all for the help it will save me a little money and worry because I was going to be picking up a few fishies tonight and now I don't need to worry so much :)
I seriously wouldn't reccomend getting fishes if you just set it up.

do a fishless cycle or use a lot of water, waste money on tests, and possible waste money on fish and waste fish lifes.

leave the pH alone. You need to cycle the tank first.
