Krib wrigglers, how to keep alive?

I am having some problems with tank size and fish. Ok, I have a 20 gallon tank (please don't flame) with 2 1 inch firemouths. I have a 37 gallon with a m/f pair kribs and 6 red-eyed tetras. I have 20 gallon tank divided so the 2 firemouths don't harrass each other. I am needing to know, will it be better if I switched the occupants? Put the 2 firemouths in the 37 gallon and put the kribs and tetras in the 20 gallon? When I first got the 20 gallon tank, I was told it was a 29 gallon; so, that's why it has 2 firemouths in it. Thanks!

Well, I did the swap. Unfortunetly it was at the cost of some new fry from the kribs that I was unaware of. Once I pulled them out and transfered them to the other tank, I saw these tiny yellow things squirming about and relized that they were krib fry. Well, the parents saw them and ate them. I feel bad now. :( I had no clue from them that there were fry hiding in one of the large decorations I had. The male has lost almost all his color and the female is doing fine. I feel just aweful!!!

REGARD LAST POST!!! I STILL HAVE KRIB FRY!! WOO HOO!!

When I thought the parents ate their kids, they were actually holding them in their mouth until they could find some place to keep them!!! I'd say there is a bout 10 to 15 fry. What do I need to do to keep these kids alive!!
