white bump on angelfish

He acts normally but has a white bump right above EACh eye as hopefully shown below. any idea for treatment that will not kill off all my plants? It is not cottony like ich.
Sorry the pic is unclear - I cannot figure out how to get this autofocus thing to take closeups.

Hi several days ago I noticed the same thing in my brackish aquarium, on one of my Monos. A white "pimple" on both sides of head over the eyes. I've never seen this before. Unfortunately the fish passed away before I began any treatment. My only guess is possibly the begining of "hole in the head" disease? Hopefully a more knowledgeable aquairist will see this post.
