I have just moved and set up my tank in the new place three days ago. I filled it up about three quarters of the way over night to check for leaks, then I put in the rest of the water a day later. now I see this band about 9" wide around the inside of the tank that has a white film on it. above that it is clear. It goes from smooth glass to this milky colored film. I tried getting it off with a spong and some elbow grease, but it is really tough to get anything to come off. Any idea's of what this is and how to get rid of it? I also started cyclying the tank by using ammonia. Not sure if that helps. Thanks for any help.
