I just looked in my tank and I have little tiny white things in my tank that are climbing on the glass and jumping around!! what in the world are they and why do I have them! weird things have been showing up since I got the yellow shrimp:help::help::help:

probably planaria (completly harmless) That is if they look like little white worms. if not than I have no idea.

Likely Cyclops (copepods) Harmless and an indicator of clean water as they quickly die when water parameters are getting bad. They will also increase in population if you feed a bit more than necessary. Many of my tanks (most) have some as well as a host of other interesting little inverts....

Cheers, Bill

yay! finally something due to CLEAN water! lol.. thanks Bill! :headbang2::headbang2:

Are they in the water or on the water surface, jumping into the air? If the former, copopods. If the latter, springtails.

Don't you normally find springtails on ... snow? That's where I always find them.

Copepods = free fish food.
