white parasites on Oscar..

Ok, i think its the white things on the glass causing it, but my little Oscar has these hair thin white parasite like worms that wriggle along his scales up and down his body. I addded maracide to the tank to his tank. Recently he scratched himself up so horribly he looks like the baby oscars that you see in the cheap pet stores. and I feel horrible because i feel like i must've added a gallon of melafix to his tank ( among other things x.x )
What could the worms be? I'm taking precautions and doing a HUGE water change tonight ( soon as the dumb store nex tto me gets some more ph stuff )
 
They kinda...shimmie. its not like grotesque wormlike wriggling as much as it is they are just MOVING..as if they had little feet to pick them up and walk. Im checking him right now..he sustained heavy loss of scales when he got freaked and crashed into the slate in his tank.
Ok, the worms arent there, but i can see small white fishie pimples. Im guessing the maracide worked...overnight! Wow. Im keeping up the maracide treatment and doing a 50-60% water change tomorrow night.
 
Maracide's some powerful stuff. Just keep up with the water changes though and don't go over the recommended amount. Oscars are usually pretty sensitive to medication so keep an eye out for the poor guy.
